Am I too young for Botox?

This question is asked all the time. Unfortunately, there is no single answer. Botox injections can only be given to those who are at least 18 years old. However, you have the freedom to decide when and how to start.
Botox is usually started by women between the ages 30 and 40. Botox is usually first performed by men between the ages 40 and 45.

Here are some things to think about when deciding if this is the right moment to get Botox Newcastle.
Preventive Botox

Botox can be used as a preventative measure. Botox is best used to prevent wrinkles and fine lines from developing with age. Botox Newcastle relaxes the muscles responsible for these lines. After the muscle has been relaxed, the overlying skin will also be relaxed. This helps to smoothen any wrinkles or lines. This prevents the development of new wrinkles and lines.

Preventative Botox can be started at any age, but the average age is in your mid-twenties. If you are prone to squinting or have expressive faces, you should consider it. Fine lines can also be inherited or genetic. Take a look at your family gathering. Are you seeing your relatives with “11” lines, which are two vertical lines that run across the nose of older relatives? Are there other trouble areas of the face that “run in the family”?

There are many reasons why people get premature wrinkles. This is why it’s important to get Botox as soon as possible – especially if your goal is to avoid developing fine lines and wrinkles later in life.

There are a few exceptions. Some patients may use Botox to reduce the jawline. This is sometimes called masseter Botox. This treatment to reduce the jawline is very popular in Southeast Asians who are more susceptible to masseter hypertrophy (or “square-face syndrome”) and those with temporomandibular disorder (TMJ). The simple and effective treatment of masseter reduction, or jawline slimming, is suitable for everyone at any age who wants a more feminine or slimmer jawline.

Forehead Lines

When we smile, frown or raise our eyebrows in a whimsical way, forehead lines and wrinkles may be apparent. However, they usually disappear when the face relaxes. Botox may be recommended if the lines persist at rest, when you aren’t being expressive. This is usually in the mid-twenties for some people. Others might find these lines problematic well into their thirties.
Skin Color & Sun Damage

Botox may also be influenced by skin color and sun damage. Botox might be a good option for those with sun-damaged skin. Particularly if you spend a lot time in the sun.

Contrary to those with lighter skin, Botox can be delayed for a few more years by people with darker skin. Many people with darker skin may put off Botox until their 40s.
