Many people don’t know the sound and legitimate reasons to buy freeze-dried and dehydrated foods. These foods include noodles, pasta, macaroni and spaghetti, as well as rice, beans, cakes, potatoes, carrots, fruits, bread mixes, muffins, and many other varieties. You can buy the same food in supermarkets as the foods we sell, but bulk packaging is cheaper and allows for a longer shelf life.
Our philosophy is simple: We offer the same food you would buy at the supermarket, but in much larger quantities and with less packaging and labels. Our food has a significantly longer shelf life than the supermarket version, which doesn’t use oxygen absorbers or air-tight containers. You will be able to save money and gas by reducing your dependence on the supermarket.
We have also extensively researched the impacts of climate change, and we know that it will make it very difficult for food to be available in the coming years. Food storage is the only way to solve this problem. Already, climate change has a significant impact on global food production. It is expected to get worse.
Bulk Food is better than gold!
The gold-selling industry is not promoting gold as an investment. Here are a few reasons why. It is far more beneficial to have food storage than to convert gold into “essential stuff” (a tedious but necessary step to make gold spendable). This step is often forgotten. It’s important to know how long it takes and how much it costs. Timing is everything when selling precious metals for cash. Many people, businesses, stores, gas stations, and other establishments won’t buy gold for any reason. Food is more important than gold. A man who has food is more wealthy than one without it. He might sell you some food in exchange for some of your gold, but he could not as nobody really needs it. Everyone needs food.
Bulk Food Costs Less!
Bulk survival food purchases can be a cost-effective way to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Bulk purchases are essential for large institutions. However, the average family can save hundreds if not thousands of dollars a month by purchasing bulk foods. Bulk food purchases are a great way to save money. Instead of spending a lot on expensive packaging and paying much more for it, bulk food can be cheaper. You can get your products in individual cans, buckets, or bags up to 50 lbs., but without fancy labels and expensive packaging. They still have the same high quality that you are used to.
Bulk foods can be concentrated. One #10 can (a gallon size) contains a large amount of food. This can, depending on what food you choose, contains anywhere from 12 to 70 servings. This is what you can find at your local supermarket.
In the past few years, dehydrated foods have made great strides. These foods are similar in texture and flavor to expensive freeze-dried counterparts. They can also be prepared in the same time as food bought at the grocery store. We are experts in bulk food. We specialize in bulk foods. Our prices are often lower than the small boxes you can buy at the grocery store.
We invite you to look at our products, compare them with the prices in your local grocery store, and assess your needs. Then, feel free to reach out to us to find out how we can assist you.
The shelf life is long-lasting! 7 – 30 years!
The shelf life of bulk foods in buckets and cans is between 7 and 30 years. There is no refrigeration needed (even if the power goes out your food will still be safe). The shelf life of food depends on many factors such as temperature, humidity, and oxygen. For more information, please refer to the link above.
A few comments about canned food (supermarket food)
Don’t believe Hollywood’s stories of “survivors” of the “Apocalypse” consuming store-bought food (cans, packaged food or wet-pack foods) that they scavenged from abandoned stores or hoarded for decades. It is completely false. While it may make for a fun movie, it would also kill any remaining people who dare to eat it.
All types of supermarket food will have spoiled or rotted over time, even in cans, due to bacteria and acidity. These foods are not intended to be stored for long shelf life. Even the cans are not meant for long-term storage. Store-bought packaged food will not be safe to eat if it is wrapped in plastic wrap or plastic containers. Any chance of you eating this food will be gone forever. You will likely die from contamination if you eat any of these foods many years later. Food poisoning and diarrhoea will finish the job. The worst thing is starvation.
It is essential that survival shelters with food from supermarkets be regularly rotated and replenished (monthly), to avoid any spoilage or damage. It is not a long-term strategy. Canned wetpack food will only last for a few years (2-5 years; please see Still Tasty to find out more about wet-pack food shelf lives), but it is extremely dangerous to eat.
There is no way to make canned food last for decades. Many people make this mistake and stockpile canned food for years, or even decades. If they are not able to eat the food quickly enough, they are wasting money. This type of food security can only be achieved by storing foods that have been specially processed to ensure a long shelf life. This ability is only available for dry, frozen, or dehydrated food.
With oxygen absorbers, airtight containers will keep oxygen, bacteria, mold, and mildew out of the food. Containers should be oxygen-impermeable. This is why we recommend mylar liner in buckets of food or mylar food pouches or hard-sided cans with oxygen absorbers.
Real food security is a job done right the first time. It doesn’t waste time, effort, or money doing something that doesn’t work.
Nutrition!
Dehydrated and freeze-dried food retains the majority of its nutritional value, without any added chemicals or additives. These chemicals and additives are not good for you so avoid them as much as possible. Many bulk foods are preserved in an oxygen-free environment. This means that there is no need to add preservatives or additives to preserve the food.
Research has shown that dried foods are significantly more nutritious than canned or frozen foods. Dehydration preserves natural nutrition. The nutrition loss from frozen foods is, for example, 40-60 %!!!. This is due to the fact that food cells can rupture upon freezing, leading to nutritional loss via cellular damage.
Canning can be even more dangerous – the nutrition loss is as high as 60 to 80 %!!! This can be due to high temperatures combined with foods that are immersed in water.
Dehydration is the best way to preserve food while still retaining all of the nutrients found in it. This method of food preservation is the best for healthy, natural eating.
It can be stored easily!
Dehydrated and freeze-dried food can be kept almost anywhere, and is always available when you need them. Packaging doesn’t have a lot of air or fancy labels, which is what makes food so affordable today. For example, a single can of dehydrated vegetables is equivalent to several cases of “wet packed” canned vegetables. Because our food is concentrated, storage is easy! Our foods will require far less storage space than what you’d need (or use currently) for supermarket food. Your extra food can be kept under your bed! Food that you buy in cans or buckets is safe from pests, dust and rodents. No refrigeration required!
Investment!
It is a smart financial investment to buy food now. Everyone needs to eat. However, the cost of food keeps rising each year. Today, food is one of the most important monthly purchases. By purchasing food in large quantities, you can maximize your return and get food for the future at today’s prices. These strategies can help you save hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Even if you make fewer grocery shopping trips due to today’s high gasoline prices, it can make a significant difference in your monthly spending.
My motto is “What you buy today will be more expensive tomorrow.” Inflation is a factor. However, this statement is even more true today because of rising fuel costs and production costs (farming in this instance). The fuel costs will soon double or triple the price for all goods, including goods. Oil-dependent economies are extremely sensitive to oil prices. Everything is linked to this energy resource. Everything else will suffer as energy costs rise. It’s not a 1:1 ratio. But it’s much worse than this. In less than three months, the cost of metals has tripled. In response to rising oil prices, resources such as metals, wood, food and tires, concrete, etc. have seen a dramatic rise in their costs. As energy prices fall, this situation will only get worse. Consumer goods are now more expensive than they were tomorrow.
Many people don’t realize how closely food and petroleum are linked. Oil is the only thing that allows us to produce so much food today. Oil prices rise as oil supplies decrease and dwindle. Oil-based machinery is used to produce food. This includes everything from farm equipment to production facilities, transport, distribution, and transportation. The rising oil prices have affected even the local delivery truck. Even after inflation, food will never be as affordable as it is today.
Update: Although oil prices are on the decline, food prices have continued to rise despite lower fuel costs. Extreme weather events are driving up the prices and destroying crops. Our food production has also been affected by the loss of over 1/3 of our topsoil. Climate change and seasonal variations (temperature extremes), are negatively affecting many areas. This is causing a significant impact on harvests. More than 795,000,000 people (795 million) are currently chronically hungry. Global food production is continuing to fall.
Your current financial situation may change dramatically. Every year, thousands of Americans receive “pink slips”. You should also consider what a serious injury or sickness could mean. A loss of a steady income monthly could severely impact your ability to provide for your family.
If you have a well-thought out plan for food storage, it can mean the difference between selling assets to survive (which almost always happens), and spending many thousands more to rebuild your assets at higher prices.
Inflation is another economic problem that is often assumed to be a given. Every year, the cost of goods, housing, utilities and rent, as well as transportation and consumables (including food and clothing), is increasing. It can double in a matter of minutes. While inflation is not something we can avoid, it is often inevitable. You will end up paying more tomorrow for what you bought today, so it is wise to make smart investments today.
